Speedway - Get Your Freeze On
Speedway asked RGI to create an integrated marketing campaign that would raise awareness of their summer promotional pricing on fountain and frozen beverages, with an emphasis on their Speedy Freeze brand.
RGI created the “Get Your Freeze On” theme to promote Speedway as the ideal place for freezilicious refreshment. To create buzz with the target demographic, RGI developed and managed a promotional contest and micro-site, where contestants submitted a video showing how they “Got Their Freeze On.”
Also developed a campaign logo and graphics featured on all advertising mediums including POS, broadcast commercials, banner ads, email blasts, contest microsite and Speedway web site.
Over a two-month time frame, entrants submitted videos to the contest and shared them through Facebook and Twitter to accumulate votes. Weekly winners were awarded $50 Speedway gift cards, and a Grand Prize winner received $5,000.
